Robert Welch Designs Wins German Design Award
The Radford Cutlery (Flatware) Collection has won a German Design Award 2020
The German Design Award is only awarded to projects that truly represent pioneering contributions to the German and international design landscape. The highly esteemed, international jury review products from all over the world and the German Design Awards is something the team at Robert Welch Designs are very proud to receive.
The cutlery series combines traditional design with modern design language and contemporary materials. The individual parts are pleasant and balanced in the hand and overall look very elegant and high quality.
The Radford collection owes its origins to the contours and balance of traditional 18th century English cutlery. Today it is one of the most extensive collections of stainless steel cutlery available globally and features 65 individual pieces. The very best materials and craftmanship go into each piece. Spoons and forks are made using the highest quality 18/10 stainless steel, and knife blades are made from specially hardened stainless steel to provide the finest possible cutting edge.
The award is to be presented on Friday 7th February 2020 at a prestigious ceremony during the Ambiente trade show in Frankfurt. Robert Welch's Head of Hospitality, Sarah Egan and International Sales manager, Jurgen Bresseel will be attending the event to receive the award.
